Two more Asiatic Lions lost

Just came across this update on the Asiatic Lions blog - two more lions fell and drowned in a well in Gir Forest, India. Let's hope they get the funding and cover the remaining open wells as soon as possible. The story here:

it's so upsetting when wild creatures have to suffer because of man-made obstacles. Hope they get it covered up soon.

What a tragic loss. Two less for the already dwindling gene pool. Lets hope they achieve their target of 4000 wells and soon. And get as you said more funding. They need it.
