Male Lion Pictures

They are such majestic creatures...and yet they are disappearing at an alarming rate from the African savannah. Previously thought to number around one hundred thousand, it is now estimated that nearly twenty three thousand lions exist today in the whole of Africa - most of them in protected reserves. Outside of designated game parks the graceful cats are vanishing rapidly from the wild. Here are thirteen pictures of Male Lions - the kings of beasts - from Bill Dow's archives.

Oh wowie kazowie, the lions are just SOOOOOO handsum and kool and amazing! Mom just loves lions. Thankies so much fur keepin us up on konservashun efforts. They simply must be proteckted and preserved, they are such majestick big cats.
