Wild Cat

The oldest of all cats, the Wild Cat is believed to be the evolutionary origin of all cat species today. Once found throughout the 'old world', the Wild Cat today is restricted to certain regions of the planet and is usually classified into three distinct species -

European Wild Cat

African Wild Cat

Asian Wild Cat

The wildcat demonstrates a high level of geographic variety. While the Asiatic wildcat is detected, the African wildcat is faintly striped, has short sandy-dark hide, joined legs, red-sponsored ears and a decreasing tail. The European wildcat is striped, has long hide and a thick tail with an adjusted tip, and is bigger than a residential cat.
