Today's Quiz: The Man-Eater!

The nearly maneless adult male lion shown in the picture below was a very bad boy indeed ~ during the years 2002-2004, he killed dozens of people in a reign of terror, making him one of the most notorious maneaters in history ~ the question is: Which was the African country where all this took place?

Maneater

I did some research and found out the country. I do not want to say and give away the game, but I know the country starts with the letter "T". It seems they think he might have become a maneater because of a toothache!

I am going to say Tanzania! Though Daisy and Ben definitely helped narrow things down, *smile*.

My, that's something, what Daisy learned, that the lion might have become a maneater because he had a toothache.

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!

I came here all ready to say Kenya and I'll stick to it, even though I know it is wrong now, from what Daisy and Benjamin said.

We did some snooping on the internets and found it was in Tanzania.

It's Tanzania! We snooped too, but had fun reading about the lions at the Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago. Maybe next time Mommy goes there she'll go visit them (Mommy loved the movie The Ghost and the Darkness and Daddy says it was one of his better movies).
